When I was leading international recruitment for universities one of the hardest parts of the role was managing speculative emails from agents that wanted to work for us. Most emails promised the same thing - lots of students and quickly. And at one point I was getting ten of these every week.

The volume of requests made giving agents a fair-go difficult. It was remarkable just how hard it was (and still is) for agents to advance their partnerships. The best universities are basically “full”, with a small fraction of the world's 30,000+ agencies having snaffled-up a majority of contracts.

For new & ambitious agents, getting heard is really difficult. Often the only answer is to sub-agent or go through aggregators.

That’s why we’re making it simple for agents and university users to discuss possible partnerships, share files, and make commitments to deliver.

We already offer unique digital commission agreement capability that allows either agents or universities to initiate offers to recruit. (e.g. "We'll find 10 Business graduate students from Sri Lanka - which US colleges want us to source some of these for them?")

And now we’re rolling-out live chat to make agreeing terms and sharing docs simple and quick. It'll cut down on laborious admin tasks that so often get switched to shared email inboxes or fall to a hapless team member doing 3 people's jobs.

University users will be able to decide which agents can “see” them and initiative chat, and agents will be able to initiate conversations with any partner universities and any universities that have made themselves visible to them.
